Senior Stretch & Exercise Class Mondays and Fridays at MRH East Campus in Marlette

This class is offered free of charge every Monday and Friday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Light exercise with breathing & relaxation techniques.

Walk 15 Class, Mondays and Wednesdays at MRH East Campus in Marlette

This 35-minute Walk 15 Class is for all ages every Monday and Wednesday from 5 – 5:35 p.m. Walk 15 focuses on variations of walking steps with additional upper and lower body movements. It is open to the public at the low cost of only $1 per class session. It is for all regardless of fitness level. Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. The MRH East Campus is located at 2861 Main Street in Marlette. Please use door #3 only. BeFit Dance Fitness Class, Tuesdays and Thursdays at MRH East Campus in Marlette

The BeFit Class is offered free of charge every Tuesday from 5 – 6 p.m. BeFit focuses on the whole person and builds relationships that lead to healthy results. Chamber of Commerce Meeting, February 6, 8 a.m. at Marlette City Hall

Area businesses are invited to join the Marlette Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019 for monthly meetings, education, and social events. The Chamber meets the first Wednesday of every month at Marlette City Hall at 8 a.m. Quarterly lunch meetings are also held at various area restaurants. For more information, call 989-635-7448.

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) Presentation, February 12, 6:30 p.m. at the MRH Seton Center

This topic of this month’s meeting is Marijuana Legalization: How Does This Affect Me? Arrive at 5:45 p.m. if you would like to receive free Narcan training and a kit. Sanilac County FAN meets at Marlette Regional Hospital the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in an effort to save lives by empowering individuals and communities to prevent and eradicate drug addiction. “Diabetes and Your Heart Health” Class, February 13, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., MRH East Campus

This class is intended for diabetic patients that have completed 10 hours of DSMT education. This class will be taught by a registered nurse, certified diabetes educator, and registered dietitian. The cost associated with DSMT programs and classes is covered by most insurance companies, but co-pays and deductibles may apply. Attendees should call their insurance company to verify coverage for education. Please contact the diabetes education office at 989-635-4348 for more information, to RSVP, or for referral assistance. A guest is welcome to attend with participants.

Chamber Dinner & Dueling Pianos Show, February 16, 5:30 – 10 p.m., St. Elizabeth Church Parish Hall, Marlette

The Marlette Area Chamber of Commerce invites you and your friends to join them Valentine’s Day weekend for a dinner and show featuring the Midwest Dueling.
