The Truth About Marijuana and Vaping Lunch & Learn
“Weed Between
the Lines: The Truth About Marijuana and Vaping” will be the topic of a Community
Lunch & Learn at Marlette Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 24th from
noon to 1 p.m.
The guest
presenter is Michael DeLeon, a motivational speaker who struggled with drug
addiction and gang involvement for nearly 8 years, and is now an accomplished,
educated man with one mission: to educate youth to stay in the right direction
when it comes to serious life issues, especially drugs. Michael is the founder
of Steered Straight, Inc., a non-profit organization that shares the reality
about life choices and the importance of consequential thinking to one’s
actions.
According to
Steered Straight, Inc., marijuana has been genetically modified to become a
commercialized and industrialized toxic poison. Kids think it’s safe because
most parents think it’s safe. Most Americans have no idea what is happening
within this new industry of marijuana and vaping, but “Weed Between the Lines”
will share valuable information about its prevalence and the dangers associated
with it.
Community
