A Matter of Balance Program Will Be Offered in Marlette
Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) is offering A Matter of Balance program free of charge to area seniors aged 60 years and older who have physical limitations due to concerns about falling. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.
This 4-week course is ideal for seniors concerned about falling; anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength; anyone who has fallen in the past; anyone who has restricted activities because of falling concerns.
Pre-registration is required and the program will be limited to 12 participants. Classes will be held twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. beginning June 3rd at the MRH East Campus located at 2861 Main Street in Marlette.
