Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center’s Homeless Program Assists Veterans Facing Possible Eviction

The Michigan Governor’s Executive Order on the Eviction Moratorium is scheduled to expire at 11:59 p.m. on June 11, 2020. In preparation for this, the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center wants to ensure all Veterans are aware of the availability of the Homeless Program which assists Veterans at risk of becoming homeless. Many VA and community-based homeless services are available to Veterans who are facing eviction.

The Aleda E. Lutz VAMC in Saginaw, Michigan operates an 81-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation Community Living Center. It provides care to over 37,400 Veterans in a 35-county geographic area, from mid-Michigan to the Mackinac Bridge.
