Chelsea Measel Awarded MRH Nursing Scholarship

Each year, Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH)’s ∑3 Nursing Team—the Knight ‘n’ Gales—offers a scholarship opportunity to MRH employees pursuing a nursing degree or additional nursing certification.

This year’s $500 scholarship recipient was Chelsea Measel. Chelsea has been part of the MRH team for over a year and currently works as a medical assistant at Marlette Family HealthCare. Chelsea is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree and plans to pursue further education to become a physician assistant. Chelsea’s supervisor shares, “Chelsea is passionate in her role at Marlette Regional Hospital and excels in her work. I am confident that Chelsea will achieve whatever goals are put in front of her.”

This scholarship is funded through the MRH Nightingale Fund, which was founded to support children’s education in the community as well as support nursing education at MRH.
