Hills & Dales General Hospital Partners with Tuscola County Health Department for COVID-19 Vaccine
Cass City, MI – Hills & Dales General Hospital recently partnered with the Tuscola County Health Department to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Hosted on March 18, 19 and 20th at Hills & Dales Regional Education Center, the Tuscola County Health Department transferred 600 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to Hills & Dales to administer through this clinic.
This is another example of a community collaboration to help get as many people vaccinated as possible that want to be. Jean Anthony, President & CEO notes, “We are thankful for every opportunity to provide the vaccine to those who fall within the phases set by MDHHS. We will continue to do our part and the partnership we have with the health department allows us to help take the burden off them and we are glad to help!”
The three-day clinic took many staff members and volunteers to facilitate. But it was no surprise that staff members and the volunteers of Hills & Dales Auxiliary were anxious to help. Those receiving the vaccine were so thankful for another opportunity locally to get the vaccine as well.
Hills & Dales looks forward to an ongoing partnership with the Tuscola County Health Department and will also continue trying to obtain vaccine directly from the state. The overall goal continues to be getting the COVID-19 vaccine distributed throughout all the communities we serve.
