Hills & Dales General Hospital Please to Announce New Leaders

Cass City, MI – October 31, 2019, Hills & Dales General Hospital is pleased to announce three new leaders have joined their senior leadership team.

Mary Cunningham has joined Hills & Dales as the Chief Financial Officer. A long-time member and supporter in the Cass City community, Mary brings to the position a wealth of finance and accounting experience, having served in the role of CFO since 2005; in the private sector with the financial services industry and the non-profit sector in public education and job training. Her knowledge and expertise in critical access hospitals and healthcare was gained over her years serving on the Hills & Dales Board of Trustees as well as her successful completion of the Michigan Hospital Association Governance Fellowship, which is a yearlong program that immerses professionals in all areas of healthcare administration. Mary has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Management, and began her role as CFO in November.

Peggy Davidson, ARRT (CT) (R) (M), RDCS, RDMS (Abd) (Br), was promoted from Director of Radiology to Vice President of Ambulatory Services. In the planning for the retirement of Craig Bellew, who is the current VP of Ambulatory Services, Peggy started in early November and will work closely with Craig to ensure a smooth transition. Peggy has been with Hills & Dales for 23 years, working in various roles in the Radiology Department. As the VP of Ambulatory Services, Peggy will direct and evaluate the administrative and operational functions of Ambulatory Services at Hills & Dales, across multiple sites of care. This position exercises leadership and management responsibility, ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of our patients and their families, as well as the hospital’s goals, objectives and strategic plan are met.

Dave Wohl, AT, MS, MBA, was promoted from Director of Rehabilitation Services to Vice President of Population Health and Business Development. Dave has been with Hills & Dales for 23 years as well, with over 18 years of hospital management experience. Dave spearheaded the current program for Hills & Dales Population Health and has been vital in the understanding of population health for all our providers and employees. As the VP of Population Health and Business Development, Dave will continue to lead the development and implementation of the hospital’s population health management strategy from volume based to value based care, as well as oversee business development, strategic planning and organization planning and transformation.
