Hills & Dales General Hospital Please to Announce New Vice President of Patient Services
Cass City, MI – November 9, 2020, Hills & Dales General Hospital is pleased to announce they have a new Vice President of Patient Services. The current VP, Jennifer TerBush, will be retiring mid-December. Jennifer came to Hills & Dales as the Director of Nursing in October of 2011 from Covenant’s Management team. Not many years later, in 2014, Jennifer was promoted to VP of Patient Services. In this role, she led the charge of many new things. She was involved in EPIC implementation, the Swing Bed Program development, and was crucial in the 2017 renovation project.
With Jennifer’s retirement in the near future, Hills & Dales has hired Christie Bishop to take over her role. Christie will train with Jennifer to learn all about Hills & Dales. Christie joins Hills & Dales after most recently serving as the Director of Patient Care Services at McLaren Bay Region. She oversaw the ER, CCU, Cardiology and nursing areas while in this role. Prior to that, Christie was the Chief Nursing Officer at McLaren Thumb Region. Christie has years of management experience, as well as experience with working in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
As the VP of Patient Services, Christie will oversee the ER, OR, and Med/Surg units at Hills & Dales, as well as the Quality Department and Nutrition Services. Jean Anthony, President & CEO, says, “Christie has excellent management experience and was a great candidate to fill this role for us. We wish Jennifer all the best in her retirement and look forward to this transition in our VP role.”
