Hills & Dales General Hospital Welcomes Three Nurse Practitioners

Hills & Dales is pleased to introduce the newest members of our medical staff team; Nurse Practitioners Christine Henderson, Megan Parslow, and Kristie Smith. 

Christine Henderson will be seeing patients at Caro Family Practice alongside Dr. Putman.  Christine earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Virginia College in Birmingham, Alabama and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Davenport University in Midland.  She then completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University.  Christine worked alongside Dr. Putman during her clinical rotations in Family Practice and Pediatrics.  She also gained clinical experience in Women’s Healthcare from Valley OB/GYN and in Internal Medicine with Dr. Mirza Hussain.  Christine is also a Certified Medical Examiner, performing DOT exams in the clinic.

Megan Parslow will be seeing patients at Kingston Family Practice and Family Healthcare of Cass City, alongside Dr. Melanie Kramer. Megan earned her Bachelor of Science, Health Fitness in Preventive and Rehabilitative Programs, from Central Michigan University.  She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy.  And most recently completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University.   Megan has clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care, after working as an ER/Trauma RN at Henry Ford Hospital for four years.

Kristie Smith will be seeing patients in the Cass City Medical Practice Extended Hours Clinic, as well as Cass City Medical Practice.  Kristie earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Monroe County Community College, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan-Flint, College of Nursing.  She then earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from MSU’s College of Nursing.  Kristie has worked as an RN in a variety of departments and has a primary care concentration as a Nurse Practitioner.
