Introducing Mike Nanzer, President & CEO of Scheurer Health

Mike Nanzer's first day as part of the Scheurer team was April 11, 2022 and is jumping right in to learn the culture of the Thumb's largest healthcare organization. Hailing from Clarkston, Michigan, Mike is a physical therapist by background and has grown into many different roles, most recently as Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Rainbow Rehabilitation, based in Livonia, Michigan with more than 40 total locations. He has also been the interim Chief Operating Officer at Sinai-Grace Hospital of Detroit Medical Center (DMC).

With a wealth of knowledge in healthcare, Mike was keen to notice the "soul" that has remained intact for over 75 years at Scheurer Health. His goal as President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is for Scheurer to remain an independent organization, grow the 488 healthcare professionals to tap into their potential and maintain the quality of care that Scheurer is so well known for.
