MRH Foundation Celebrates Tree of Shining Love 33rd Anniversary
The Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) Foundation will be celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the Tree of Shining Love event this Christmas season and invites the public to participate. This popular annual heartwarming event provides a unique opportunity for you to pay tribute in honor or in memory of the special people in your life while supporting area healthcare and community services.
This year’s event proceeds will benefit the Community Center project at The Heartlands building complex in Marlette. This needed area resource is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2022 and will be available for public use by appointment. This 4,596 square foot building will offer a warm and friendly country style design and will include: large meeting/dining room area seating up to 100 people*, kitchenette*, media room, gym/exercise room, bathrooms*, exam/office rooms, and an outside dining area. (*indicate areas supported) It will bring family, friends and community together to build relationships, promote healthy living and productive lifestyles.
In addition to those honored and lovingly remembered by the general public, this year’s Tree of Shining Love event and ceremony will pay special tribute to honor and remember Lotus Schultz for her extraordinary impact on the community and our hospital.
The public is invited to join in our celebration by honoring or memorializing the special people in their lives by submitting a tribute form with a donation. All of these names will be recognized in a special presentation at the Tree of Shining Love Ceremony on Sunday, December 5, 2021 and in local forms of media during the holiday season.
