Marlette Regional Hospital Offers Monthly Preventive Health Screenings
Preventive health screenings and monitoring is one of the best things you can do to stay healthy and ward off chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Unfortunately, due to limitations in health coverage, lack of coverage, or high copays and deductibles, many people choose not to monitor their health due to these financial constraints.
Marlette Regional Hospital’s mission is to continuously improve the quality of health in the communities we serve, and are pleased to offer our Thumb Area communities affordable health screenings. On the first Monday of every month beginning March 4, Marlette Regional Hospital will offer reduced rate health screenings including Achilles bone density, basic metabolic panel, complete blood count, glucose, HbA1c, lipid profile, liver panel, potassium, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), microalbumin, spirometry, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), and vitamin D. These “Know Your Numbers” discounted screening rates are only eligible on the screening date by cash pay only. All lab screenings are offered on a walk-in basis.
Patients should arrive to Marlette Regional Hospital between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the first Monday of the month and ask for a “Know Your Numbers” screening form at the MRH front desk located in the hospital’s Main Lobby.
