McLaren Bay Region Updates Visitation Policy

BAY CITY, MICH – Beginning Monday, February 1, McLaren Bay Region will be allowing one healthy visitor per patient at the hospital in non-COVID areas. Visitors will be screened upon entry and must be over the age of 16. Visitors must properly wear masks for the duration of their visit.

McLaren encourages the continuation of proper hand hygiene and social distancing to remain diligent in continuing to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

“Our top priority is to keep our patients and staff safe while supporting them during their healing process,” said Clarence Sevillian, President and CEO at McLaren Bay Region. “Family members will also still be able to communicate with a loved one through a number of different methods including FaceTime, Zoom, or other appropriate methods.”

McLaren Bay Region will continue to keep patients and the community informed if changes to this policy occur, through the website at mclaren.org/BayRegion as well as on our social media platforms.
