New Behavioral Medicine Program Executive Director Announcement

HealthSource Saginaw is pleased to welcome Tim Davis as the Program Executive for the Behavioral Medicine Programs. Prior to joining the Healthsource Team, Tim worked as the Program Director for Sparrow Behavioral Health Services in Lansing, Michigan and numerous hospitals and community health organizations throughout Northern Arizona and Western Nevada. Tim holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology, a Master in Counseling and a Master of Business Administration and has spent 20 plus years in patient care and service delivery, behavioral health management and executive leadership. His experiences include former certifications in quality management and “Lean” philosophies, corporate compliance, HIPPA privacy and security as well as a number of clinical areas such as Mental Health First Aide and Crisis Incident Stress Debriefing. He is actively involved with patient advocacy through the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), and has served as board members for patient rights-focused organizations such as the Arizona Center for Disability Law and Northland Cares (HIV awareness and advocacy).

Tim has a strong passion for those he serves, both those who suffer from mental illness and those who dedicate their careers to their recovery. That passion is often focused on finding commonalities, beginning conversations and building relationships. Such relationships lead to greater understanding of one another and strengthens the overall healthcare organization through kindness and compassion. As Tim often says, “We all deserve grace and respect, no matter who you are, where you come from, what you have, or what you don’t. Smile, laugh, love and remember to be kind to one another.” Welcome aboard Tim!
