New Gaylord Veteran Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic Opening

The new Gaylord VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) officially opens its doors on Monday, August 24, 2020. The 18,362 square foot CBOC is located at 2782 W. Otsego Avenue, Gaylord, MI.

The clinic will provide outpatient primary care, mental health, telehealth, laboratory services, home based primary care, women’s health and whole health. “The new clinic is absolutely beautiful and is state-of-the-art. Our Veterans will be pleased with the services available, especially at a location closer to their homes,” stated Dr. Barbara Bates, Medical Center Director.

The new building is twice as large as the previous clinic and built by KF Commercial Properties, which is owned by Jeff Konczak of Alpena and the Freeman Family (Paul, Tim and Tom) of Gaylord. KF Commercial Properties was also involved in the construction of other CBOCs including Cadillac, Cheboygan, and the most recent construction project completed, the Col. Demas T. Craw Clinic in Traverse City.

We look forward to serving our Veterans and are pleased to be able to provide them with a new clinic and offer a variety of services to meet their health care needs.
