Ogboh Memorial 5K Walk/Run Donates to Hospice

Pictured above presenting the check to United Hospice Service are family members of the late Dr. Michael Ogboh along with representatives from Marlette Regional Hospital’s 5K planning committee. Over 75 Thumb Area 5K enthusiasts from near and far headed to Brown City on June 8, 2019 to take part in the 6th annual Dr. Michael Ogboh Memorial Walk/Run sponsored by Marlette Regional Hospital. Within the first 20 minutes of the race, first place runner for the men’s division was Tim Muxlow who crossed the finish line with a time of 18:50 followed by first place female division runner Ericka Lothrop with a time of 21:37. Race proceeds totaled $2,217 to support United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital and the patients and families they have the privilege to serve. Marlette Regional Hospital is grateful for the on-going support of our local community to help commemorate the life of Dr. Ogboh.
