September Lunch and Learn Helps You Understand Health Insurance!
McKenzie Health System
features Amy Ruedisueli, CFO, and Marie Sparrer, Director of Patient Financial
Services, to present “Understanding Your Insurance” at the September Lunch and
Learn workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from Noon to 1
p.m., in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room. Lunch and Learn is a community
education series held every third Wednesday of the month. The cost for the
workshop is $5 and lunch is included in the price. Due to limited space,
pre-registration is required by calling 810-648-6117.
“Health insurance can be
so confusing these days,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie
Health System. “People often have questions such as ‘How can I know what my
insurance covers?’ ‘What should I know about
my insurance coverage before I go to the doctor?’, ‘What’s the difference
between PPO and HMO insurance plans?’ Amy and Marie can address these issues
and others at our September 19 Lunch and Learn workshop.”
“The
workshop will be presented in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where audience
members can feel free to ask questions,” adds Blasius. “And all attendees will
have a delicious, healthy meal. We hope you will join us as we bring some
clarity to the often bewildering world of health insurance!”
