United Healthcare Partners Diabetes Education Program Welcomes New Dietitian
Marlette Regional Hospital and Deckerville Community Hospital, as affiliates of United Healthcare Partners, are pleased to announce that Hannah Boyl, MS, RDN is serving as the new dietitian for their diabetes education program.
Hannah is experienced in both exercise and nutrition services. Hannah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University, Master’s Degree in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University, and holds the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. The Thumb Region has always been home to Hannah as she grew up in Kingston and now resides in Mayville. She focuses on nutrition and health outside the office by providing nutrition coaching to clients at local gyms and participating in fitness competitions in the Metro Detroit and surrounding areas.
The United Healthcare Partners diabetes program is state- and nationally-certified and provides individualized consultations, diabetes self-management training, and continuing education refresher courses in Marlette and Deckerville. The program is staffed with a certified educator/registered nurse and registered dietitian.
