Sketch: Sheridan Community Hospital offers a 24-hour Walk-in Clinic and emergency services, in addition to comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. SCH also includes three hospital-owned family health practices, in Sheridan, Stanton and Edmore, and a Medical Office Building that serves patients in family practice and podiatry. In the past few years, SCH has undergone several renovation projects to create: a new state-of-the-art lab, Diagnostic Imaging Department, CT scanning suite with a Toshiba 64-slice scanner, outpatient and visitors' lobby and offices. SCH's history began when two doctors leased a large farmhouse in 1944 to create a privately-owned hospital.

Recent Accomplishments:

- The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and iVantage Health Analytics recently honored Sheridan Community Hospital for “Excellence in Patient Satisfaction.”

- The Michigan Center for Rural Health honored Sheridan with the 2012 Spirit of Quality Award to recognize the dedication of hospital staff in providing excellent care.
